What our clients are saying…

“Before the mentorship program, I had a vague notion of how to achieve goals. I wasn’t a very happy person and mostly drifted through my life. This program gave me the tools I needed to clearly define my intentions for the life I want to lead. The impact of the mentorship on my life has been very positive. The growth I have experienced practicing the fundamentals of the mentorship program is immeasurable. I am a much happier and positive person. I have been able to set goals and met them head on. Robin not only imparts knowledge, but provides wisdom and perspective in a non-judgemental and supportive way. Her guidance comes from a place of honesty and love. She deeply cares for her mentees. I would recommend the mentorship. However, there is work to be done. If you think you can join this mentorship and have all the work done for you, think again. You’ll have to reach deep inside yourself identify aspects of yourself you may not like, but the end result of doing the work is so worth it. You will be changed, for the better and you will love what you see in the mirror.”

Cat A. – Warrior Women Mentorship

“I found the mentorship helped me approach my problems in a way I had not considered. I found Robin’s presenting style excellent. We worked at our one pace in our own time and she was able to work with our schedules! I would absolutely recommend the mentorship. I’ve told many people about “my mentor” and the things we did and I learned. I hope others try this as well. I love that you’re still supportive in my life! This ride isn’t over. She says you’re paying for a few weeks mentoring. You’re not, you get a cheerleader and a friend for life.”

Amanda M. – Warrior Women Mentorship

“Warrior Women 90 day intensive mentorship arrived in my life at just the right time. There are no coincidences!!! I thought I was going to be focusing on building a new aspect of my business – and I did. But what I truly learned from Robin’s coaching was to look at myself and how I shape all choices in my life. The weekly calls were fun and informative, but it was the homework that really worked the magic for me. Putting pen to paper with specific homework each week not only helped me understand myself better but ultimately helped open up several doors for my business. The more open I was, the more I had successes with work. Robin’s straightforward approach and structured mentorship are fundamental to the success of Warrior Women. All you need to do is show up and be open to change – you’ll have to work a bit, but I promise that it will be worth it.”

Lynne L. – Warrior Women Mentorship

“I had no idea what to expect from the mentorship when I first signed up, and I couldn’t be more excited about the results. Going in I was just going through the motions of living. I was the queen of excuses and negativity. Now, I am able to really live and be happy. I know how to control the negative thoughts and turn them into positive thoughts and outcomes. No more excuses and blaming. I’m responsible for my own happiness and have the tools to reach my goals!”

Tanis V. – Warrior Women Mentorship

“The practical learning was the best bit for me. I really enjoyed going away and making up combos and teaching it to your peers. It was great preparation for what we will do once we were qualified. As always I was nervous at first because I was just beginning, but I definitely felt equipped to do the job once I completed. It is the best decision I’ve ever made. I love teaching and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Ekene B. – Group Fitness Apprenticeship

“My favourite part of the apprenticeship with Judy and Robin was learning the concepts of teaching an actual class (class structure and planning a class) as well as the games we did with Judy in her class to help us remember what we needed to know. I loved taking Choreography with Robin and even though it was scary sometimes, I liked breaking up into groups to practice what we were learning and class presentations. I grew a lot through those!

“I felt more confident to teach to a group after completing the apprenticeship. Even though I had some nerves, the training (and practice) really helped because I would remind myself that I had a plan and I knew how to use it! I would recommend the apprenticeship.”

Sarah M. – Group Fitness Apprenticeship

“My favourite part was working together and building friendships with the fellow apprentices and Mentors. It was an excellent way to ease into teaching by teaching each other first and overcoming the fear of going in front of a large group. I loved every step of it and definitely felt confident to teach once the apprenticeship was done. I found Judy’s knowledge of the theory exceptional and Robin’s enthusiasm and confidence in us very motivating and empowering! I have recommended it to all the ladies in my classes! And would recommend it to anyone who wants to teach group fitness! I can’t thank you enough for the skills you have taught me.”

Chantelle D. – Group Fitness Apprenticeship

“My favourite part was acquiring new knowledge and skills from experienced instructors. The format of the theory based portion of the apprenticeship was wonderful! I enjoyed the group discussions and Judy’s vast expertise. I was very successful on the written exams and the format of the classes largely contributed to my success. Honestly, I have never had an issue getting up in front of a large group of people. I felt confident in my teaching skills upon completion of the mentorship and apprenticeship. Timely and effective cueing is such an essential skill and this program was effective in giving me the tools to fine tune it and pull it off in a class environment. The knowledge that Robin shared during the in class sessions was so integral to my overall success. The key to succeeding in this program is to take what the leaders have given us and practice practice practice!! I would and have recommended the apprenticeship to individuals who would like to succeed as an AFLCA certified group exercise instructor.”

Tanya C. – Group Fitness Apprenticeship

I am always very impressed with how Robin addresses audiences in her sessions. She is very down to earth and makes learning both fun and interesting. I have been equally impressed with how she can present (and speak) as professional and still come across very approachable via the online space. This is a very unique asset to have as a trainer because speaking into a computer can be hard for some. Robin was able to pivot and continue to share her passions via this new way of training, effortlessly.

Jodi P. – Online Visionary Fitness and Leadership Conference

I had the pleasure of being able to hear Robin speak at the November 2020 fitness conference and have to say what a positive ray of light she is! She radiates energy and strives to make ongoing improvements to the fitness industry as a whole, which is so refreshing! Love this woman.

Korinna L. – Online Visionary Fitness and Leadership Conference

Robin carries herself well and is always a pleasure to interact with. That, coupled with her experience and contagious energy inspired me to ask her to present to our CAPS members. She was professional and easy to work with and followed through on her commitments in a timely fashion. I quickly learned to trust Robin and was confident she would deliver on her commitments.

Robin was very well received. The response was very positive. People enjoyed her energy, enthusiasm and her passion for her message. Robin is a talented speaker and does an excellent job of engaging her audience, I would not hesitate to invite her back or recommend her to others.

Tim B. – Canadian Association of Professional Speakers Event Chair

Robin O’Grady’s positive can-do attitude makes her a pleasure (and easy) to work with. As a seasoned fitness professional and continuing education provider she is always willing to work collaboratively with organizations to create sessions that meet the needs of the target audience (fitness professionals). Robin’s approach as a presenter/leader is always positive, which creates a safe environment and positive learning experience for all who attend her sessions.
